White to light purple red crystal, exposed to the air changed purple or dark brown. Slightly soluble in cold water, soluble in alcohol, ether, chloroform and benzene.
It can be used to produce azo dyes, polymers, can also be used to produce fur dye, rubber antioxidant and photo developer, mainly for aramid, azo dyes, sulfur dyes, acid dyes, but also as fur black D, fur blue black DB, fur brown N2, as well as rubber antioxidant DNP, DOP, MB production. It is also used as a raw material for the hair dye Ulster D series, the gasoline polymerization inhibitor and the developer.
